Just a quick update.

I hope everyone is enjoying their holidays! I found this video on youtube that shows the type of art journaling we will be doing in the creativity studio. This is just one person's take on the art journaling process and everyone will have their own personal style by the end of the program. The basic book construction is what we will be working on during the first session. We will also start some backgrounds. Please check out this video and come to the workshops! I will update with dates as soon as I get them.

Looking Forward

December and the Holidays are wrapping up. I hope everyone has been having a happy end of 2009. January is the start of a new year and the start of some awesome programs in the creativity studio. I will update with a complete calendar soon but let me give you a few sneak peek links.

Art Journaling: This is a fun way of recording emotions and thoughts onto paper without having to write. Its a no rules method of self expression. You can find some cool examples at the following places

Organization

Some of you may have noticed that the creativity studio was buzzing with activity today! Some of us in the creativity studio have decided that the studio just didn't feel very creative. So we pulled everything out of the closets and cabinets and began organizing. I look forward to the finished product and will update with photos once we get everything together. 2010 has many things in store for this teen center and a whole lot is planned for the creativity studio. I hope you are ready to have some fun, because I am!
